Police are searching for a wanted U.S. sex offender who has been posing as an NFL scout in Ontario.
The Sun Prairie Police Department in Sun Prairie, Wisc., are looking for Britton D. McKenzie, 66, who cut off his GPS monitoring bracelet and dropped off their radar on April 1.
McKenzie visited a garage in Chatham, Ont., on Wednesday for an oil change, according to Chatham-Kent police. An employee became suspicious of the man, who claimed he was a football player-turned-NFL scout for the Green Bay Packers.
After learning that the man was a wanted sex offender from Wisconsin, the employee called police.
The Sun Prairie police warn that Mckenzie has a history of exposing himself to young adult females and is known to frequent coffee shops and libraries.
McKenzie was last seen at a gas station in Goderich, Ont., said Chatham police. He is believed to be somewhere in northern Ontario.
Police say he may be driving a red Jeep with a personalized Wisconsin licence plate reading βPack26.β
He may also be using a disabled Wisconsin licence plate reading β32537D.β
