Bai DG, I never expect the PNC to do the right thing so I am not surprised by their behavior. The only law those hooligans understand is the kind that is usually placed on places like Iran and Iraq etc. In the past Guyana had no real value so they were left alone to do their own thing. Democracy was restored in 1992 because Jimmy Carter has made efforts of democratic elections his life work after the White House. But now is different. Guyana is sitting on lots of oil which they have no way of harvesting themselves. The payments of that oil will have to pass through the US Federal Exchange Commission so it will be very easy to freeze those assets as the US does with other rogue countries. Only something like that or at least a threat of it will force these hooligans to do the right thing.
