PPP Accuses Electoral Observers Of Being Conduit For Election Rigging

The Progressive People's Party, PPP has accused Electoral observers of being conduit of election rigging.

The party said despite the violence and vote buying that took place in the Talensi by-election, the Observer groups still declared the by-election as free and fair.

The Leader and Founder of the party, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom who made the accusation at a news conference in Accra noted that if the massive abuse of incumbency displayed in the Talensi by-election is not stopped it could be repeated in the 2016 general elections.

This, according to Dr Nduom, could have dire consequences on the economy.
