Each one of these passengers should tell at least 10 other Guyanese of their plight and those 10 should do likewise.... by the end of the day more than 1 Million people would have been informed.

Guyanese head hard. Additionally they are generally poor in North America so when a cheap fare like 400 bucks shows up. They will take their chances.

That $400 looks real "cheap" given that most of them will miss Xmas, and some might lose their jobs if they get stranded when ready to return.

Its just amazing.  GuyAmerica was the first scam, collapsing around 1984.  This was followed by  steady cast of characters, like Arrow, Leisure, GA2000, Universal, Constellation, and Ezjet.  Even GAC left people stranded when it collapsed. Many others also existed, but I cannot remember the names.

And yet in December 2014 after THIRTY years of being scammed, yet another crowd of Guyanese are providing entertainment for US media when they scream and cry "dem raab we!"  After that inauspicious start last summer, who are the idiots who are so foolish as to use this airline.  The fact that Gouveia is involved ought to be reason enough to stay away!

Guyanese should use CAL or Fly Jamaica.  If they don't then when they get stranded they need to accept the fact that they played the lottery and they lost, and so should just keep quiet and go home and write off their losses.
