June 22nd, 2016. PPP MPs distributed hampers to Flood Victims in Mahaica Creek, DeHoop, and Mahaicony Creek. It was a door to door effort. Many of the affected residents are farmers whose crops have been destroyed.

The greatest thing about president Jagdeo is that he fits in with the people like an ordinary citizen. He will walk in the mud with the villagers. He is the immortal soul of Guyana. He don't show off. I give dua every day for him.
