The People’s Progressive Party is set to celebrate Guyana elections victory on August 1 in Richmond Hill, Queens.
August 1 coincidentally is emancipation day in Guyana.
A grand mela/victory party is set for a venue yet to be announced.
This celebration is a themed one with speakers assigned topics to address the vanguard
Keynote speakers will be:

doctor six times over and president, Barratt jagdeo – spiritual and physical rebirth and transformation
wahabi chatri, Anil nandlall – women rights and the law
Bheri best ramsarran – love as medicine in the political realm
irfaan ali – creative financing & the role of Islam
Lis Harper – the traditional roles of negroe women in an egalitarian society
Jennifer Westford – public accountability and capital punishment
Clement rohee – the art of bicycle repairs & Chinese medicine
Special invited guests are: Ed Ahmad, senator Sampson, an easy jet representative on behalf of sonny ramdeo, Vishnu bisram and real estate agents.

There will be Amerindian dancers, negroe dancers, Bollywood dancers, Chinese acrobatics, crafts, food, music, drumming and luxury cars on display.
