Harper still silent after NCN loses audio

PPP prime ministerial candidate Elizabeth Harper is still to be heard from after an interview taped last night by NCN was discovered to have no audio.

The interview with the 57- year old career diplomat at her home was scheduled to be aired today at 3.30 pm and was supposed to unveil her candidacy and for the public to hear from her for the first time as she was silent on Saturday at the announcement, something that has caused some consternation among women.

Now the interview filmed hosted by Olive Gopaul, who put up shots on FB of Harper beforehand, will have to be re-taped tonight. There is also the question of why NCN, a taxpayer funded broadcaster is using resources on an individual who is not a minister of government as this would be seen as a case of abuse of state resources in the run up to the election. In addition NCN remains silent on its policy towards giving slots to opposition advertisements.
