At all PPP public meetings there are police. Hence the comment of a Kingston resident last night, that there were more police than attendees at the PPP public meeting at Barrack and Fort Sts.
So, given this police presence, how was I able to bus in goons to Enterprise, then ply them with alcohol, and then incite them to heckle and boo the PPP meeting there on September 27? In Enterprise of all places?!
This is an area where previously no opposition could have held meetings. How come the wildly popular working-class party that the PPP says it is was not defended by the sugar-workers of Enterprise?

No one sought to intimidate us at Albion?
Really?
Then what is this?
For the record, no AFC political material or wrist bands were distributed at the Albion Rally. With all the cameramen around, I challenge the PPP to prove we did as alleged in this press statement. However, we did see a few persons, including sugar-workers going to the Rally with their AFC wrist bands on.

Romel Roopnarine is so careless he can't even get Dr Surujbally's name right. This is the same Romel who tried to twist my account of what happened in Enterprise on his TV show.

Demerara Waves reported Min. Robert Persaud as saying, "Three billboards, each worth close to GUY$300,000 and more than one dozen of scrolls valued between GUY$30,000 and G$50,000 were defaced."
Wow, this is almost G$1M for these few things...what would Dr Jagan have said?

Who are these hundreds of volunteers who showed up to help "ensure a climate of peace, civility and proper conduct"?
They can't even get a 100 people at their public meetings and suddenly they have gotten hundreds of volunteers? Are these going to be paid vigilantes?
Oh well, one way to find out...

He put them in there. It is obvious, he would have taken their sides. Please doan forget Cheddie Jagan was a soviet agitator and he was known to send in his goons to intimidate Indians who differ with him. With no disrespect to you, being in their camp, that sort of information was never going to surface at Freedom House.
But those incidents did occur. Please know Cheddie Jagan was politician and in days of 1957 -1961 he was a desperate politician. You do know, he made back rooms deals with the PNC while his rhetoric of anti-PNC made many his followers end up at the butt end of a police gun.
