PPP regime intimidates AFC councillor

The Alliance For Change’s (AFC) Councillor Naiim Gafoor was arrested in an AFC stronghold during a protest march against the extremely poor condition of roads in Mahdial.

Gafoor was charged with obstructing traffic and illegal procession after he refused to do the PPP dirty work for them.

Gafoor was taken into custody, charged and robbed of GUY$18,000 at the station.

The police arrested and charged him after they had surrounded the marchers. The PPP regime issued orders that it should be said that organisers did not have permission from the PPP for the march.
