Ravi Dev is a decent, brilliant and patriotic politician. He could be an asset in a PPP/C government. If he decides to walk up the stairs of Freedom House and talk peace and reconciliation he would get a hearing at least. The ball is in his court.

The PPP should reach out and do what is necessary. Ravi is a keen student of the situation.

I agree with Bookman 100%. The way I see it Ravi Dev is our brother. If he bleeds we bleed. If the PPP/Jagans can extend an olive branch to Brindley Benn (someone who cursed down the Jagans more than everyone else who left the PPP combined) and took him back then they certainly can take Ravi Dev back. Let us practice the forgiving politics of Cheddi Jagan and not the unforgiving (I will hate and destroy you forever) politics of Janet Jagan.

Have you guys considered that Ravi might have decent moral values and does not want to be tainted by his association with the PPP? Membership of the hierarchy within the PPP is not a badge of honour after all. The last high profile graduate to have made an impact on the PPP was Roger Khan, and look where the PPP sent him. Straight into the hands of the US prison system. Even Ed Ahmad got flushed down the drain when he asked for a bit more than the PPP was prepared to give.

Guyana needs all of its talented sons and daughters to work together to move the nation forward.....however I doubt whether Ravi Dev would be comfortable with Hamilton and Bynoe on the same team....

Wally sir, Churchill is a respected gentleman. We all have disagreements but Church means well and he wants what is best for Guyana, just like you.

I do agree that he wants the best for Guyana but his bashing of present and past PPP fellows has got to stop. It is not fair to those fellows who put their lives on the line for the party. I spoke out about Bookman's list and I am speaking out here. It is not right.
