One has to remember that Moses Nagamootoo is a self-made man. He is an author, a writer, an Attorney-at-Law, a politician with great organizational and managerial skills. He is articulate and well-spoken. Moreover as a father and husband he has distinguished himself. His children all made themselves into educated members of the societies they live in. They all love each other and are not involved in scandals.

I think it is Moses ability to shape the political dialog in Guyana through brain power and inspiration that has some rattled by his impact on the 2011 elections.

This does not seem the kind of man who will "crawl back" anywhere or subject himself to being "used and abused".

Many will argue that he has already been used and abused by the KFC. We will all know sooner or later. Let us wait and see the end result.

Equal rights means only PNC access to KSI?

I have great respect for the intellect and integrity of Moses. However, I would be shocked beyond measure were he to be elected Speaker. The PNC has been in the political wilderness for too long and needs to provide some rewards to its long suffering core supporters. The Speakership is about the only plum in its basket right now. Clarissa Riehl all the way.

I am back and very curious that a few low lifes on GNI still go after Comrade Moses after the man prove his point that he has support -- thousands too, in Guyana. I read Bisram saying that Comrade Moses is "enmomously popular" among the grassroots and has cross-ethnic support.
So, why can't these guys back off and treat him with the respect he deserves? He is AFC's candidate for Speaker of Parliament and I know that he will be fair to all sides. It would be good if the PPP support him. If not a PNC person will get the post.
If this happens, Comrade Moses will get the last laugh as the ship will sink this time for sure.
I see that PPP putting up Comrade Ramkarran against Moses Nagamootoo.
They using poor Ralph. They chafted him when he wanted to be presidential candidate. So, who says they will not give him the stick again?

I have to agree with Errol Arthur.....the PPP is in not capable of having any of it's members occupying the Speakers chair.
Those days are gone. They blew it.....

The AFC has offered a choice of either Moses or Raphel as the new Speaker.

It is simple......if the PPP wants a PNC speaker ......all they have to do is refuse to support the AFC's choice....and we will have a New PNC Speaker......Compliments of the PPP.

Moses wants to hide behind the Speaker job so he will not be required to vote on those AFC/PNC sponsored anti Indian bills that are in the making. In this way he can avoid exposing his hypocrisy and pretend he is the good guy. But he is in for a surpriseâ€Ķ..the Indians who voted for him will give him a big surprise.

I have seen Clarissa Riehl in court action and she never impressed. Maybe I am mistaken, I always wonder, why is she a big wig in the PNC set up?, to be a speaker is stretching her capabilities, she is not a dynamic persona as Debra Backer. The other morning I passed her on Croal Street and noticed she even has a timid gait ' like she can't even harm fly'.

Moses needs to be represented at the voting table to carry out the wishes of those who voted for him and support Ramjattan. This should be his primary obligation to them. Should he abandon this responsibilty and leave this to Ramjattan, it could eventually precipitate a crisis within the AFC leadership which will be exploited by the PNC and rapidly degenerate into a full-blown constitutional crisis triggering a coup d'etat.

This is a scenario I believe the PNC is working on. The PPP will needs to act with upmost restraint and tact.
FM
Moses wanted the PPP's leadership but can't lead.

He lashed out at the PPP for not giving him the Leadership on a silver platter.

he discussed his problems with americans and not the PPP. A sign of a bad leader.

He was not nominated for the presidential candidaTE.

The AFC complains about the way the PPP had chosen their candidate and then turned back and offer the Vice Presidency to moses nagamootoo if he joins them.

That opportunists took the bait.

TK, Sase and GR were given the Goumattie traetment and they have the nerve to accuse the PPP of nepotism and favouritism.

Jagdeo said that Moses got rich under the PPP and he is complaining about corruption, a culture he has known and supported. he was willing to overlook them if he becomes the leader. This is the guy the corrupt AFCites think is a saint.
