PPPC unity concert and rally a massive success- patrons and supporters say

Patrons at the PPPC hosted Unity Concert and Rally at the National Stadium
The People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) this evening hosted its Unity Concert and Rally on the tarmac of the National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara, to symbolize the closing of its election campaign.
Patrons at the event, dubbed it “a major success, being the largest turn out for a rally” as supporters came out by their thousands in support for the PPPC.
Patrons at the event were treated to a number of cultural items from artistes such as; Rupert Singh, Vanilla, Rastafarian Group, Fiona Singh, Mahendra Ramkhellawan, Big Red, Classique Dancers, Jomo and Tennecia De Freitas.
The highlight of this evening’s event was the performance of renowned international Soca artiste “Destra” from Trinidad and Tobago who wowed the many thousands.

Formal presentations from government officials such as Minister of Amerindian Affairs, Pauline Sukhai, Minister of Housing and Water, Irfaan Ali; Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon; Prime Minister, Samuel Hinds, President Bharrat Jagdeo and Presidential hopeful, Donald Ramotar were made, with other side attractions for patrons.
Mustapha Deen said that he was quite pleased with the PPPC government as and was present to demonstrate his support for the party, which gave him an opportunity of being a new home owner.
In like manner, Fazia Deen expressed her appreciation to the administration for the significant investments she had noticed in her country, which now sees Guyana modernizing.

Notwithstanding this, as “Vanilla” came on stage, she caused the crowd to come alive as she started the song “I want to see you put your rags/ hands high in the sky”, and “Let me see you raise your hands and put them in the air”, this saw patrons, young, old, and middle aged, waving flags with the PPP/C’s party colours, the Guyana flags and PPP/C paraphernalia and celebrating the final rally.
Chris Vandeyer, a young supporter said that “this is a massive rally!”
Melissa and Michelle Williams unanimously agreed that the unity concert was not only a good thing (success wise) but its energetic vibes make it one of the best rallies they have attended.
David Seeram and Tendulkar Kumarie both expressed similar sentiments of the event being a major success because of the turnout, whilst David Seeram expressed gratitude to the PPP/C administration for modernizing his homeland (Guyana).
A momentous display of fireworks at the end of President Bharrat Jagdeo’s and Presidential hopeful Ramotar’s speech, added to the fun and excitement at the Unity Concert and Rally.
