Look, it is a  really poor response to say that partition is an option then say that how it is done is not up to you. your poor response is an acknowledgment that partition is not possible. Also. I am a Guyanese entitled to enjoy all of Guyana. Not giving up any part of it to this racist nonsense.

Is this the only solution? No, it is not. This race and partition nonsense has to stop and we need to figure out how to live together and accept the diversity of our nation. If one group wants to set up its own country, what is to stop another group setting up its own in that part. And it will go on. Not a good idea.

In Canada, if Quebec should separate, we might have another India, where one group is in the middle and the other is on both sides of the separation.

There are some small islands off of Eastern Canada that still belong to France. One day I will visit them.  I cannot figure out why would Canada not want to take them from France.

One of my neighbours brought this up also. I was in Essequibo yesterday and there were several individuals who suggested it. This was not rum shop talk. I was on the losing end of the argument. Had to leave because I needed to catch the last boat home or I would have stayed longer trying to convince them that partition was not an option. Was in Canada during the separate referendum and witnessed how emotions can over-ride reason.
