President Ali met with Russia's Rosatom State Corporation

President Dr Irfaan Ali, this afternoon, met with representatives of Russia's Rosatom State Corporation, including its Latin American Division President, Ivan Dybov.

The meeting, held at the Office of the President, discussed issues in energy, medical, infrastructure and agriculture.

Accompanying the President were Minister of Health, Hon. Dr Frank Anthony; Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Zulfikar Mustapha; Minister of Public Works, Hon. Juan Edghill; Minister of Natural Resources, Hon. Vickram Bharrat; Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Hon. Oneidge Walrond; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Go-Invest, Dr Peter Ramsaroop and Director of Projects in the Office of the President, Mrs Marcia Nadir-Sharma.

Russian Ambassador to Guyana, H.E Alexander Kurmaz also attended the meeting.

Looks like Uranium mining will be soon in Guyana by the Russians or possible Irradiation Technologies will be introduced in the country.

It's alleged other minerals manganese are mined at Matthews’ Ridge Manganese Project .
