I hope those guys did not come bringing the words Chavez is preparing for an invasion.

If Venezuela invades Guyana then it will be very difficult for the Venezuelan Army to move heavy equipment such as tanks. heavy trucks and armoured personel vehicles around Essequibo.  There are not many roads that can sustain that type of equipment plus in most parts it is thick jungle.  That is when the guerilla warfare of Che Guevara and Mao will come in useful.  We will slowly eat away at them. That is one approach we can use on them.

Another approach is for the Government of Guyana to hold a referendum in which Guyanese will vote on asking the United States for Guyana to become a commonwealth like Puerto Rico.

They can use sling shot guns and rockets but they will eventually have to enter Guyana then is when they will experience hit and run tactics that will wear them and their country down for decades to come.
