The Head of State, and his wife, were joined by Prime Minister Samuel Hinds, his wife Yvonne Hinds, and senior government, military and joint services' officers who gathered with their spouses, at the Officers’ Mess for the Force’s Old Year’s Night ball. After witnessing the stunning fireworks display from their vantage point at the Officers' Mess, the First Couple stopped in at the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers' Ball in the same base. That ball was a hive of activity and the president and his wife took the opportunity to show their moves to several popular songs, much to the ranks’ pleasure.
