Excllent presence by President Donald Ramotar.

What a political disaster. Showing up weeks later is  sign of weakness. Any smart president knows that you got to show up within days. Bush made that mistake in Katrina. Ramotar probably had to pick up Dutch courage first.

And look where he went to visit. No Man's land.

Show up early to get attacked? AFC Benscop still telling the people to riot and attack police vehicles. I was surprised Ramotar even went.

The President did the right thing and visit when its calm, the residents of Linden are now realizing that  the joint opposition were using the protest to score cheap political points

President Donald Ramotar made the right decision, contrary to what others may wish/want.

 

Time and patience are a few key elements for these situations.

President Ramotar is indeed a leader for all Guyanese

Some probably wanted the President to condone and encourage Violence, Anarchy and Lawlessness like GR, Moses and Ramjhattan!!!!
