OK Folks:
We all know that President Ramotar's choice for speaker is Ralph Ramkarran. Of course, the AFC and PNC(apnu) are dead set against the PPP assuming the speakership.
The problem is the AFC is insisting that Moses gets the speakership--and the PNC is dead set against Moses.
SO HOW WILL THIS PLAY OUT ?
Moses recently mentioned that if the PNC does not support his candidacy--then he and the AFC ought to reach out to the PPP.
AFC's Trotman wants nothing to do with the PPP----you see folks---Trotty is an old PNC thug---he has feelings for the PNC---and secretly he is supporting PNC's Backer for the speakership.
Forget about Trotman---let's talk about President Ramotar.
QUESTION:
If one of the opposition parties were to assume the speakership---would it be wise for Ramotar and the PPP to support AFC's Moses or should they choose not to offend afro Guyanese and throw their support behind PNC's Backer ?
The way the Rev sees it---nothing the PPP does will ever please supporters of the PNC---NOTHING!
It would therefore be politically wise for the PPP to support Moses as speaker.
Let's see how this plays out.
The way things are right now:
* PNC Granger...finds Moses unsuitable
* AFC Trotman...secretly supports PNC Backer
* AFC Ramjattan...supports Moses
* PPP Ramotar...would be wise to support Moses.
