What I have learned about the upper-class Indians, they will do anything to stay on top the ladder when fame becomes faded. They marry to wealthy business people, even if they are much older. Wealth stays within the rich and famous.

These Bollywood Hindu women are truly disgraceful.  They just cannot keep their hands off of the white man. Regardless of how he looks these Hindu brown women cannot keep trying to get a white christian baby. Folks every day I like Muhammad  Ali Jinnah more and more.  At least some aspects of our South Asian culture survive and is thriving in Pakistan as the Pakistani women stick with the Pakistani men. 

Bhai, that is the top 1% of India's 1.2 billion population that chose the high end lifestyle. In this modern day, the majority of Indian women still have arranged marriage. You must also understand that actress are trained to take on many roles that are not in sync with indian culture and traditions. Most actors and actresses schooled in England, America and Europe, etc. India's society is broader and surprisingly strange than you may think.

I am afraid you're far behind time on this subject. Wishful thinking is not the reality in a democratic society, where the rich, famous and powerful are fighting for equal rights and justice.

A huge chunk of Guyanese Hindus are now christian and nothing is being done to reverse this trend.  Guyanese Hindu priests in Guyana and the diaspora can learn from what the Ultra Orthodox Jews and Sikhs are doing to protect their communities and grow their people instead of being sitting targets for poaching from other religions.

Prashad, why do you believe mythology should control how human think and chose? If you believe in Hinduism, you must know that all religious texts contain principles of how humans should behave and worship. God is one, no matter what changes you make or which God you choose. 

Prashad cares deeply about the survival of the religious heritage of his Indo - Aryan and Dravidian ancestors on this earth just as much as others care about the survival of Jewish experiences in its various forms on Earth.

Even nonsense such as Haile Selassie is god and Bob Marley entertainment for money foolishness is now influencing Guyanese Hindus.
