I smell a rat. Granger will by no means concede to the PPP/C tonight. More delaying tactics in the works. Lowenfield will get his cue from Granger's speech tonight. Hope I am wrong. But something tells me that sanctimonious gangster will act according to his nature tonight. He is buying time but will have to go sooner than later.

Section 96 of the People's Representation Act specify valid votes to make a declaration. Lowenfield's report differentiates between tabulated votes and valid votes. Awaiting to see what is the decided outcome.

Retired Justice Claudette Singh, Chairman, Guyana Elections Commission outlined the decision on this matter, including that of Section 96 of the People's Representation Act and has instructed Keith Lowenfield to prepare the documents for swearing-in Irfaan Ali as the new President.

It looks like the celebration outside Freedom House was a spontaneous event by ordinary Georgetown folks. Bharrat Jagdeo briefed them on what transpired at GECOM today and said the PPP/C is happy with Claudette Singh's decision. He said Dr Irfaan Ali will soon be sworn in as Guyana's 9th President.

My wildest guess tells me that Granger may concede with grace and show the country that he follows the rules and the constitution and abide by GECOM's declaration and CARICOM, that oversees the election result is free, fair, and credible. Remember, Granger, don't give up easily until all his ideas are frustrated. He has to leave behind a legacy speech that the PNC can rebuild on. But he will also have to defend his reputation and that of his party. He does choose his words carefully. (There may be some exceptions to the rules). I am hoping for the best for all of Guyana.

Another one for the mad house!!!! Under the current rules, an election only has one winner. When the scores are counted that winner must be declared.

In 2015, when the PPP lost, Simona forgot to call the PPP to the table to “share”!!!

 Nuff rage on Guyana Critic  but he needs to do some soul searching and ask for repentance..

Only the people that voted for FLAPNU cast valid votes. The rest of the votes were from dead and out of jurisdiction people. Saddam Hussein 98% votes????
