Former Speaker of the National Assembly, Ralph Ramkarran, has accused the state-owned Guyana Chronicle of continuing to serve as an instrument of public execution.
Writing in his weekly blog, ‘Conversation Tree,’ the former Speaker alleges that nothing has changed at the newspaper, as it has been a policy of that organ since in the 1960s to malign those whom it feels the State wishes to publicly execute.

Al Yuh remember when the namakaram Crabdaag LIEC like the STINKING LIAR he is that Govt dont belong in Media, that NOT ONE BLACK CENT MUST BE PROVIDED for GNI and other Govt owned Entities. Now the Namakaram Crabdaag quiet!!!!!!!!!!
It was normal for people to cuss down PPP ministers on the streets. Now, the new government has security people waiting to arrest anyone who cusses a minister on the streets. There was much more tolerance on the part of government before 2015. I want Freddie Kissoon to go shouting and cussing at government minister they way he cussed down PPP ministers.
