Debunks PPP propaganda on AFC and APNU alliance
Georgetown, Guyana – Alliance For Change Presidential Candidate Khemraj Ramjattan says that his party has forced the People’s Progressive Party to admit that there are massive levels of corruption under the current administration.
“Because of the evidence of what we have found and put in the public domain it is impacting on the minds of the people across the political divides so Donald Ramotar’s political handlers, have advised him to make the admission and acknowledge corruption is rampant under the PPP and he did this at Annandale recently,” Ramjattan said following an AFC press conference at the party’s headquarters today.
“And after 19 years of the PPP being in power he (Ramotar) has no shame that he is still blaming the PNC, when in fact the PPP has allowed corruption to continue all these years and now it is far worse than it ever was under the PNC,” Ramjattan declared.
“The corruption now, under the PPP has heightened and increased rather than diminished and Ramotar has no choice but to publicly admit this,” Ramjattan said before departing for a rally at Linden later this evening.
Ramjattan also debunked what he deemed PPP propaganda that the AFC and A Partnership For National Unity will form a coalition after the election.
“It is such a blatant lie and such propaganda. It is a legal impossibility and further it has implicit and explicit racial connotations which they are peddling,” Ramjattan asserted.
“They are running scared because they know that thousands of PPP supporters are coming over to the AFC and that is why they are engaging in this nasty campaign with a lot of misinformation and lies,” Ramjattan
