Days after saying that it was too early for the party to take a stance on the matter, the Alliance For Change (AFC) is likely to throw its support behind leader of the PNCR-led A Partnership for National Unity (APNU), David Granger, as the presidential candidate for the APNU/AFC at impending national and regional elections.
Despite this, the Head of State has assured the Guyanese citizenry that he is getting better and a medical briefing from his doctors in Havana described his progress as “satisfactory and in conformity with their expectations”.

Youth Ali vs Old, Sick and Hapless Granger.
Endorsed and Fully supported by the AFC !
As so many people talk about the PPP choice for president, how bankrupt is the APNU/AFC that a man who is currently fighting for his life and who is already guaranteed a handsome pension for life is going to run again as that coalition's president candidate? Secondly, I don't think Ramjattan's support matters as the AFC may be on life support right now.
Ramjat and Naga has no choice but to support Granger.
Granger is their life line in politics. Their days are over, they are having sleepless nights.

These two Ass Kissing Opportunists(AKOs) are full-fledged PNC members. They know that their milk and honey jugs are getting holes and are trying to patch the leaks.

You got that correct, most are sponsorship related and some seeking greener pastures in the Caribbean.

Djangy, Last February when I was in Guyana, this black family told me that all her brothers and sisters, including all their children have had their papers to migrate. This was like 20 of them. Guess what? They all came to NY. They now live in the Bronx. PNC just lost 20 votes. Repeat this scenario many more times.

“Likely” to support Granger as presidential candidate in upcoming polls
AFC backtractsDays after saying that it was too early for the party to take a stance on the matter, the Alliance For Change (AFC) is likely to throw its support behind leader of the PNCR-led A Partnership for National Unity (APNU), David Granger, as the presidential candidate for the APNU/AFC at impending national and regional elections. However, AFC Chairman Khemraj Ramjattan told Guyana Times in a brief telephone interview on Sunday that while the coalition partners have not had formal discussions on the matter, he personally supported the return of President Granger as the face of the coalition at the upcoming polls.
A key representative who advocated that the AFC will be INDEPENDENT of the two major political parties is where now from 2015 to current date??
... firmly with and is controlled by the PNCR.
