Minister Trotman to manage Natural Resources Sector

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Recently sworn in Minister of Governance within the Ministry of Presidency, Raphael Trotman will be responsible for the oversight of the management of the nation’s natural resources.

A press statement has since noted that Trotman will now occupy the office on Upper Brickdam and has already met with the staff of the Ministry.

“The Minister has commenced scheduled familiarization meetings and visits to the several agencies under his portfolio. During the coming weeks the Minister also intends to meet with international, donor, private sector organizations, other development partners and stakeholders of the governance and natural resources sectors,” the press release noted.

In the previous administration, the Natural Resources sector was a separate ministry, which was under the control of Robert Persaud.

How come they had said Roopnarine was going to be Natural Resources and they had sent him when the mine disaster happened, and now they turn around and give the job to Trotman?

Simple, Dr Roopnaraine would do a better job with the Education portfolio.

I called up soulja bai and tell him Roopnarine can't wuk deh. I suggested Education. Kinda funny, when it was announced I did post on SN that Roopnarine should be given Education instead and next day the exact thing happened. Looks like somebady been listening to me
