 1.  The biggest beneficiaries of food stamps live in the REd States.

2.  Blue states, being richer, are net contributors of revenues to teh Federal Govt. We pay more to thye Feds in taxes than we rtecived in Fed expenditures. Red States depend heavily on govt largesse as the populations are poorer, older, and the wealthy farmers collect their share of corporate welfare as do defense contractors.  Ask Ryan how much Obama money he scrambled to get for his farmers.

3.  College educated people are mosre likely to voet Democrat than are the working class whites.

4.  Its indeed a fact that the bed rock of the GOP vote are the white working class males.

5.  Are you calling social security and medicare welfare, because these are the two largest Fed expenditures?
