Over the years, I have have noticed these things but have always hoped that they were simply anecdotal and in no way reflective of the overall state of our behavior as a people. I was, of course, wrong.

One only has to look at the ridiculous discussions on GNI to see this. The following conclusions can be drawn about us as a people.

1. We have in our historical/cultural memory some very anti modern and barbarous ideas. This manifests itself today in our pathological hatred of black people and our love of light skin. This is especially amazing to me since we are generally a dark people.

2. We love people with titles and money. Nevermind a coolie dunce like a jackass, give him the title of Minister and some cash and watch the other cows in the room moo his greatness.

3. We do not have political debates. We have zero understanding of what a political debate is. We think it's about some tribal loyalty to a party brand. Me coolie, PPP coolie, therefore me PPP. It is impossible to have a civil discussion with most Indian people. They do not know what that is.

4. Coolie people are natural criminals today. Our current society will excuse anything if you have enough cash. Poor black people who steal cassava are criminals. Rich coolies who undermine our whole social fabric and system of government are "clever." Our society has this built in mechanism for the defense of bad behavior among the rich and powerful. It is disgusting and the principal reason why we will elect and re-elect corrupt governments in perpetuo.

I was in Guyana a few months ago and was absolutely amazed at the state of significant segments of the black community. I consider myself fairly well read in Guyanese history and none of the chronicles of the 19th century paints such a bleak and dire picture as I witnessed first hand just in the environs of Georgetown.

The blacks have completely capitulated to Indian domination in a way I never thought possible or desirable. The leaders are all bought and paid for. The rank and file and just trying to avoid starvation. And worse of all, the Indians who dominate are the ones least fit to run a modern democratic society. I'm not even sure they could run a feudal society.
