The ever popular Regal Stationary and Computer Supplies and Regal Sports along with the Steve’s Jewelry Establishment have been teaming up with Minister of National Security Khemraj Ramjattan to bring smiles to the faces of sports organisations and individuals.

They recently joined hands with the overseas based Florida/Guyana Hope Charity Foundation and the locally based Guyana/Florida Hope organisation in a number of recent charity events across Guyana.
Now they have joined Minister Ramjattan on his Crusade to assists the less fortunate across Guyana.
According to Minister Ramjattan, he was recently asked by Mr. Hardyal to assist in the worthwhile ventures and he readily agreed. “Knowing the gentlemen, I know they are into good things and I don’t regret one minute being on board with them,” the Minister said.
Minister Ramjattan, who is also a well know attorney at law and a former all-round sports man especially in the area of cricket, recently donated a set of sports gear to the Scottsburg United Sports Club of Corriverton.
The Minister said that the new strategy is to keep members of the community, especially youths gainfully occupied so there would be less idle time.
He reasoned that if persons are assisted in getting involved in sports and community activities. There would be less idle time and opportunity for persons to be involved in all kinds of Social Ills and Illicit activities.
Among the items handed over were bats, balls, pads, gloves, guards, helmets, footballs, basketball, basketball rings, dominoes and chess. (Samuel Whyte)
