He was the sacrificial lamb that was ordered to be a nuisance until he was cut down by the PNC to cause racial strife and make the country ungovernable. The riots in Linden and Agricola were used for the same purpose. Many innocent people lost their lives and children were unable to go to school. Public and private properties were destroyed and police were unable to keep the peace from the thugs. All this was done under a political party that had nothing more to offer Guyanese than to cause destruction, riots, and killing. Once again, they used the Cotton Tree deaths to weaponize it as class warfare. History does repeat itself.

Well, they are very upset from losing the elections.  They exhausted all legal channels to justify rigging, but it failed miserably in the end.  They had to step down.  They are now using the tragedy to whip up racial and political tensions.  The Guyanese people must not allowed themselves to be baited by Harmon and Granger.  We don't need racism and hate.

The PNC went back to parliament whereas they legitimize the PPP government. The rest is anger because they couldn't govern with Mingo's fraudulent figure. They were protecting Mingo from being charged, but the court has its own way of dealing with thieves and liards.

They are hollering "no justice, no peace" for that crook, Mingo. What do you think they will do when an Afro-Guyanese is murdered?  Here is case where two men were savagely murdered and they are ready to indict the government and its supporters.  We don't know for sure who carried out these murders, yet the PNC has wasted no time in goading its supporters to carry acts of violence against Indo lives and properties.  This is how irresponsible and wreckless the leadership of the PNC is .

Granger did not go back to parliament because he can't face Jagdeo and the PPP that put him out of commission and retake the government. The anger is flaring again. They are hoping to destabilize the government and kill the good life Irfaan Ali is providing for the people and the country. The PNC talks the talk while Ali walks the walk.

Jagdeo has become a heavyweight in Guyana's politics.  I personally had written him off during his first term as president. He turned out to be a tough and savvy politician much to the surprise of most his friends and foes.  The Lilboy image is gone and he is now seen as a powerful figure that most people respect and fear, including the former PM, Moses Nagamootoo.  The wikileaks cables quoted the CIA as saying that the PPP was moving from being the Jagan party to being the Jagdeo party something the Americans having been hoping for a long time ago.
