A Representative Guyana team defeated their Suriname counterparts in a 40-over cricket match played in Holland over the weekend.
The Suriname side batted first and made 188 for 8 wickets in 40 overs with a top score of 58 from Sarda Balwansingh, while Sandeep Balwansingh bowled 7 overs for 21 runs and 1 wicket for Guyana.
The Guyana reached 193 for 5 wickets in 29 overs to comfortable win.
Omar Bacchus top scored with 87. Bowling for Suriname Fox Doodnaught sent down 8 overs with 3 maidens for 24 runs and 2 wickets.
