I know what they not do  have in common; one has an ivy league degree the other does not. One was a successful intellectual, the other a successful sycophant. One achieved greatness one had it trust upon it by a granny smart enough to supplant a bunch of stupid spineless Indian men.

Moses has serious political capital. Very few Guyanese politicians have that. Their success go hand in hand with a party. Jagdeo or Ramotar would be nothing without the institution of the PPP. This is not the case with Moses. If he takes over the AFC and teams up with someone like Nigel it is a sure 12 seats for AFC next time. They need to professionalize the AFC. Dump the moles that will come from PPP and PNC. Tighten up the campaigning and instill discipline in the activists.

Well, judging from the last election it looks like the only only Region where Moses has some political capital is Region 6.

In 2006 the AFC received 8543 votes in region 6; in 2011 they received 11,634 votes in region 6----that 3091 vote increase was due mainly to Moses.

But the Moses novelty has dissipated--the AFC has been exposed as a party of hypocrites and opportunists---and so if Moses is, indeed, the AFC's presidential candidate in the next election---he'd be lucky to match the 10.3% the AFC received in 2011.

Regarding those 12 seats you mentioned---wishful thinking!

That was not very creative. 

What did you expect the opposition to do, rubber stamp the budget?  What did you expect Nagamootoo to do, break with the opposition and vote with the Govt.  What's the point of an opposition if this was the expectation.  Has any member of the PPP ever broken ranks if they disagree with the PPP on an issue?  It is how it is and breaking the deadlock needs compromise on all sides.

You know one of the demand of the opposition, set up a procurement commission to oversee major spending.  This is not a political compromise or power sharing like what the PPP demanded back in the 70's/80's.  What is so difficult that the PPP cannot also make compromise and seek a solution.  The PPP is not all innocent though I believe the opposition should also do it's part to seek compromise.
