* If Guyanese voters would consider the CONSEQUENCES of a PNC rule, they would forever stick with the corrupt PPP.

JAMAICA REPLACED US RICE IMPORTS WITH GUYANA RICE IN 2013

The sole rice mill in Jamaica completely replaced U.S. paddy rice with imports from Guyana in 2013 mainly due to higher prices of U.S. rice, according to the USDA.

* So Guyana has strengthened its BRIDGE to Jamaica pertaining to RICE.

* This is excellent news.

* In 2013 Guyana prodiced half a million tones of rice----hopefull rice production will top the one million ton mark in the coming decade.

* THIS IS DISCOURAGING NEWS FOR THE FOLKS BENT ON BUILDING WALLS---THE PNC/AFC.

REGION 2 VICE CHAIRMAN FORECASTS BOUNTIFUL RICE HARVEST ON ESSEQUIBO COAST

          A field with rice in bearing stages on the Essequibo Coast

VICE-CHAIRMAN of Region 2 (Pomeroon/Supenaam), Mr. Vishnu Samaroo has reported that the rice crop on the Essequibo Coast is growing well and a bountiful harvest is expected.QUOTE: Rice farmers on the Essequibo Coast have increased the acreage under their cultivation, from 32,500 acres to 37,120 acres, because of Government’s massive investment, in terms of making the D&I system more efficient and providing farmers with technical help and training through the GRDB and the RPA.

* THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL PROGRESS UNDER THE PPP.

* It is absolutely shocking than any sane person would ever want the PNC to rule Guyana.
