 Richardo Rodrigues  Clive King Guyanese police on Monday issued a wanted bulletin for a close associate of a convicted drug kingpin now in United States jail and a Lethem businessman in connection with the recent discovery off high-powered weapons in a yard. Wanted are Ricardo Ignatius Rodrigues called "Fatman” and Clive Lloyd King called "Bora". Police said the duo are "wanted by the police for questioning in relation to the unlawful possession of arms and ammunition." The items were dug up from a yard in Lethem. Guyanese police almost immediately asked Brazilian authorities to keep an eyee out for King, said to be contractor in Region Nine- Upper Takatu-Upper Essequibo. Rodrigues and King are cousins. Rodrigues is a close associate of Shaheed 'Roger' Khan who is serving a jail sentence in the United States for cocaine trafficking. Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Rodrigues and King is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers: 226-1333, 225-2722, 772-2087, 225-8196, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest police station. Police have already charged 19-year old Benedict Thompson with being in illegal possession of arms, ammunition and explosives. He has been remanded to prison until December 4 when he is scheduled to appear in the Lethem Magistrates' Court. Thompson is charged with being in possession of three AK-47 rifles, six M15 rifles, four AK-47 magazines, an AK-47 drum magazine, and one M15 magazine, without being a licensed firearm holder. He has also been charged with having two anti-riot grenades without lawful authority to have such weapons in his possession. The man allegedly led investigators to the cache of weapons after he was confronted by police about allegedly being in possession of one gun.
