Rondy Jagdeo freed of biker's murder

City businessman, Rondy Jagdeo, who was accused of gunning down biker Kirk Davis late last year, on Thursday walked out of the Georgetown Magistrates Court a free man.

The court ruled that the prosecution failed to establish the elements of murder.

He had been accused of gunning down Davis outside his Eccles home on September 3, 2013.

An autopsy had revealed that Davis was shot 16 times.

Shortly after, it was believed that Jagdeo had fled to neighbouring Suriname until he surrendered several weeks later at the Ruimveldt Police Station in the company of his lawyer.

In the PPP/C Guyana everyone walks free, due to corruptions, there is no justice.

It makes you wonder. This man was seen shooting his wife's lover in broad daylight in front on many eye witnesses including his wife. He then went into hiding after the police were searching for him. Now he walks free.

I think this reveals the incompetence of the DPP for failing to establish the elements of murder at a preliminary hearing.

I am on a plane out of Guyana tonight.

This place rass scary, body dropping, criminal walking free, this is like modern day Somalia.

That's the Guyana Kangaroo Court system fuh yuh. Once you have the right connections, you can put out somebody light and walk a free man. Life is cheap in Guyana.
