The People’s Progressive Party(PPP) sees the hasty recall of PNC/APNU Parliamentarian Richard Allen as a sign of the character of the opposition that we have in this country.
It reveals the ruthless nature of the

PNC/APNU as being vicious, unsympathetic and cruel, according to a statement from the People’s Progressive Party.
Mr. Allen fell ill while attending Parliament a few days ago. The action taken by the PNC/APNU demonstrates that the party, even though operating with a changed name, has actually retained all its negative traits, the PPP says.

It is hard to anticipate what they would cut, since a “This unsympathetic act is another in a series of actions they have been undertaking to the detriment of our people and nation. At the moment, we see then undermining all the traditions of Parliament to suit their own agenda.  Now they are resisting the consideration of the Budget Estimates from the day after the debate to a much later time.          This is merely to facilitate them in mobilising their members in Parliament against the measures in the budget.

wide cross-section of the Guyanese society has pronounced positively on the budget.
“During the debate, the opposition AFC/APNU speakers have not made any serious argument against the budget measures.  The only thing they say is that they will cut the budget, irrespective of the effects it will have on our citizens and their development.

PNC/APNU MP Richard Allen is the latest victim of an opposition obsessed with power.”
And Speaker of the National Assembly, Raphael Trotman, yesterday announced in the House that A Partnership for National Unity’s Richard Allen has resigned from his post as a Member of Parliament in the Assembly effective last Friday, April 5.

Trotman related that Allen’s resignation therefore means that his seat in the National Assembly has become vacant and advised that, that seat is to be filled by a person whose name is to be extracted from the list of candidates from which Allen’s name was originally extracted.

Guyana’s million dollar per month Presidential Advisor and Chief Whip, Ms. Gail Teixeira,  said the funerals of former MP’s Reepu Deman Persaud and Rev. Dale Bisnauth “would not affect the time-table for consideration of the estimates.

Mitwah

That statement was taking out of context to make Ms. Gail Teixeira look bad in a time of mourning of two former Ministers. However, these men are already dead and it should not held up an entire nation from moving forward with the budget. If these two men had lived they would tell you the nation business in priority number one. End of story!

If any of the afc parliamentarians get sick this would be their fate. Nigel is a luck man to retain whatever position he has in the party, they would swap him out for gerhard, tk or mitwanda in a second. Who knows these 3 people are currently praying for an afc parliamentarian to get ill so they can take their place. ahahah

I never said he was. I was referring to his time being ill may be time for his replacement according to how APNU/AFC function.
