The unwelcomed viewer of a reported ménage à trois who was beaten to death on a beach at Third Avenue, Bartica after refusing to refrain from witnessing the sexual act on Monday morning has been identified as 49-year-old Kumar Persaud.

Persaud’s identity was revealed after police found his identification card on his lifeless body. His address remains unknown.

This bit of information comes after police sent out a release on Tuesday evening seeking the public’s assistance in identifying Persaud who was known only as ‘Radika’ at the time of his death.

Inews had previously reported that between 04:00hrs and 05:00hrs on Monday, the now dead man, accompanied by two males aged 18 and 21 and a 25-year-old female, went to the beach for some enjoyment. A police source disclosed that the young adults were all engaged in “a sexual threesome act” while the deceased was “just viewing.”

This publication was informed that before the act could reach its climax, a misunderstanding erupted between the young adults and the man, and the three reportedly began to “cuff and kick”  Persaud about his body.

Quick action by police in Bartica resulted in the three young adults being arrested on Monday morning just after they had beaten the man, who was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 10:00hrs on Monday.

This online publication was told that the trio did not resist arrest. A post mortem examination is expected to be performed on Persaud’s body.
