One of the new owners, Subreena Boodhoo, told Stabroek News briefly that various renovations were carried out in the building to “enhance our service and bring the very best to our customers.” She said she is currently in a partnership venture with the entity’s former owner Eric Nicholas.

The well-known eating house had been closed since February 1.

Stabroek News understands that over $1 million has been invested to renovate the building.

Salt and Pepper’s main branch, founded in 1978, is located in the heart of Georgetown, Guyana on 38 Robb Street.
