NFL is a monopoly but they still have to protect their brand. If the player does not like it then he can join Mugabe or Malema. Either way it is white people who pay him not Mugabe or Malema

CK didn't really sacrifice that much, he was at the end of his career and headed to the dustbin to fade into obscurity, especially since he turn vegetarian and lost so much muscles.
That being said, he did bring awareness and deserves his payday. Who knows, that might have been his angle all along. At least he is not out robbing and killing.
