The three opposition-appointed members of GECOM have condemned the delay of a meeting today of the commission on the recount of votes following a request by the three government-appointed members to “study” the decision yesterday of the Full Court.

A statement issued by the three commissioners follows:

The ruling of the Full Court of Appeal on 31st March, 2020, discharged all injunctions restraining the Guyana Elections Commission from executing its full mandate.

I understand that GECOM and its attorneys are communicating with members of APNU/AFC all through the election process. If this is true, then I would say that this is another ploy by Granger to stalled the election process to move forward for reasons that may benefit APNU and its ranks of thieves.
