Queen Elizabeth, like ever mortal on God's Green Earth, is now at rest.  It is time for political historians to put pen to paper.  How is history going to remember the queen that had dominated the British Empire for decades.

For us Guyanese, we must not forget some of the lowlights of Her Majesties' Life.  It was under her tenure the British Administration in conjunction with the American Administration, under the stewardship of John F. Kennedy, created havoc on the Jagan's Administration, in the Bristish Crown Colony, of British Guiana (BG).  This led to wanton destructions across the length and breadth of BG. It was under her Majesties Leadership that the electoral procedures were manipulated to force the Jagan's Govt out of office.

Also, we must never forget, that independence for Guyana was delayed until 1966 following the ouster of the lawfully elected People Progressive Party headed by Dr. Cheddi Jagan.  This independence was purposely deferred until a suitable govt that was compatible with British and US policies.

We as Guyanese should never forget.  I only wish the mainstream media would do a segment on such afflictive acts.
