There is not a day that I read the local news papers and not find bandits robbing businesses and innocent people, people committing suicide, or someone gets murder senselessly. In most case guns or cutlass are the weapon of choice. These crimes are happening randomly in every area of Guyana. Vehicular accidents are also on the rise, and people don't seem to learn from their mistakes. This is getting out of control. I notice threads exceeding six and seven pages on the same rambling and not one is dedicated to crime that's happening everyday in Guyana. I must warn you that crime is everybody's business, and it's a national disaster that is getting out of control. We're not going to politicize it.

This is what you get when you get when you promote cocaine as a national export. Crime is naturally attached.

Add to this the PPP's incompetence with fighting crime and you have the current crime situation which is totally out of control.
