Seekumar Rambarran of Lot 805 Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, Berbice was remanded to prison by Magistrate Ann McLennan on Monday, September 21, 2015 after pleading not guilty charges of illegal possession of firearm, ammunition and the possession of drugs.

The court heard that on September 18 at Crabwood Creek, the businessman had in his possession one 12 gauge shot gun, when he is not a licensed firearm holder; the second offence stated that on the same day at Crabwood Creek, he also had in his possession 51 live 12 gauge ammunition.

The court was also informed that on the same day at Crabwood Creek, he had in his possession 26 grammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He was also charged with the illegal possession of 36 grammes marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

Rambarran was represented by Attorney-at-law, James Bond, who in his bail application, informed the court that his client is a very sickly man with heart complications.

According to Bond, his client has no control and knowledge of any of the items found by the police, which he explained were discovered in an empty lot in the bushes, which is quite a distance from the residence of Rambarran.

However, Police Prosecutor Deniro Jones opposed bail, explaining to the Magistrate that ranks from the CID headquarters were heading surveillance on a sting operation for two weeks when the arrest was made.

According to the Prosecutor, on the day in question, the ranks noticed the defendant throwing small containers in an adjacent yard, after which he was arrested.

Upon searching the yard, the ranks found the illegal weapon. The court heard that the defendant then allegedly offered to bribe the police and is expected to be charged for that offense soon. The matter was transferred to Springlands Magistrate’s Court for October 05.

The Courts have, at least, two issues to address ...

1. The possession of the items.

2. If indeed the issues of his sickness are indeed the explicit result of his actions .. i.e., he has no control of his actions.

Innocent until proven guilty. First he was not in possession of the guns. It was found in some bushes. Second, he seems to have some drug abuse issues.

Bond is a good lawyer and will defend his client accordingly.

People not guilty don't need to bribe.

Not surprised at the lengths alyuh go to defend one named Seekumar Rambarran. Since when using cocaine, illegal gun possession and bribery are the "explicit results" of heart complications, eh Mr. "pnc cum afc" Cumswalla?

If he was black you and that skanky hore Yugi would be wailing alyuh nasty medley of black man ah kill ahbe. Instead this criminal is held to high esteem among alyuh because he has lots of "disposable income" integral to alyuh indian superiority movement regardless of the criminal source! He is a FILTHY CRIMINAL, trafficking in dope, killing children of all ages!

Imagine, this coming from the same old horing skont named Yugi who on successive occasions accused black man of "ethnic cleansing" murder. He didn't care about innocent until proven guilty then. Disappeared at the revelation that each murder was indian on indian over money and property.

Answer the damn question Mr. Cumswalla. Since when does trafficking cocaine, illegal gun possession and bribery stem from heart complications????? Yuh does write nuff shit thinking no one will call you on it.

Your answer bears no relevance to the subject. One you choose to insult people and second, how race become the subject. All you see is Blackman and Indian and not the criminal act.

Au contraire, I see the criminal act. But I also see the vigorous defense mounted, particularly by an indian known for accusing black people of "ethnic cleansing" by murder. But now he advocates for "innocent until proven guilty" strictly because the criminal here is INDIAN. The racism of these indian pricks like Yugi cannot go unchallenged.
