I just found out that Sir Sidney Solomon Abrahams who was the Senior Legal Assistant to the Commonwealth Relations Office and who played a major role during the suspension of the PPP government of 1953 was the older brother of Harold Abrahams (the 1924 Olympics Gold Medal 100 meters champion). Harold Abrahams story as a jewish British runner was told in the Dodi Fahad produced film "Chariots of Fire".

Its a small world indeed.
