I am from Line Path. About 100 yards from Skeldon Line path Secondary School. He might be from Skeldon but as you know, I left during the Ice Age and all the people I knew either migrated or died. Even if I saw him on the public road, I would not know him or his parents.

She was married ( or hook up) to old man Mr. Wong Wee who had that hotel and 3 story building at Springlands.
She was a good cook and was popular with travleers who were flocking to Suriname. Many people stayed at that Hotel. It was called Harbor View.
Old Wong Wee had his first business at #79 Village in the 50's before he moved to Springlands, one of the first and few 3 story bulkding in our area back in the 60's and 70's.

Was this Wong Wee related to the Chungs(cinema), Wong Yow or them Choo Yick? These are the three Chinese I can recall who lived in that general area.

Nah bai. I saw GT for the first time when I went to apply for a student visa. I sat at the window and saw your associate robbed an old drunk man of his felt hat.
That's fine with me. I prefer not being choked and robbed by your associates.
I spent one great summer in Line Path, Skeldon...I think it was 1979
Used to hang with this fella named Tony (not his real name), I think his father name was Issa(could have been a jeweler).
Used to go almost every weekend to wedding house ( hang out with the guys who play the jukebox)
Hear Tony died at a young age a few years later (car accident I think)
Was sad to hear...he lived with his grandmother who loved him so much

I know the boy's family. His mother's name is Lily. They are very light skinned folks. His grandmother lived in the same street we did and she worked with my mother in the sugar estate as a weeder.
"Weeder" tarasss...irie mon.
cain posted:"Weeder" tarasss...irie mon.
She mad an honest living, raised 5 boys and lived to be 86 years old.
SK
you must also know the folks I stayed with. They are my step mother's family. I don't remember the last name, but the kids names were, Sylvia, Gloria, Lorraine....don't remember the other 2. I think their father worked in the estate, strict fella...but then most fathers in the countryside were strict, especially if they have 4 pretty daughters

Is the father's name Allah? Besides Aunty Shortie(Lilly's mom), Allah was the next Muslim in that street. I know the man had daughters..no sons. They were light skinned folks too. Very quiet family.
I doubt that the dude's name is Allah. Maybe something Allah but not just Allah.
Nah...these people were Hindu
I think you talking about a different street. You must talking about Tony's mother side of the family
