Snatchers FC, Tabatinga FC and Guyana Rush Saints registered victories when the Rupununi Football Association (RFA) Champions league commenced recently at the Wadapna Centre ground, Lethem with four matches.
In the male division Snatchers FC beat Guyana Rush Saints 1-0, while Tabatinga FC and Gladiators FC played a 2-2 draw.
In the female category, Tabatinga FC defeated Gladiators 2-1 and Guyana Rush Saints overcame Snatchers 3-0.
As the competition continues the RFA executive is seeking assistance to offset expenses in hosting the matches and anyone willing to assist can make deposits at Republic Bank account no. 695-538-9.
