You do know that many US carriers buy Airbus planes. So if Boeing is so universally better why do they do that.

JetBlue, an airline that you know well, uses European and Brazilian planes.  American Airlines has many Airbus planes in its fleet.

If Boeing planes cost 20% more because a nation (China) puts on a punitive tariff as retaliation against Trump they will buy Airbus.  The fastest growing airlines  are the Asian carriers, the very nations that will be targeted by Trump. That is if Trump does what he told his goons that he was going to do.
