Soesdyke farmer murdered…body found with multiple injuries to his head

The police are investigating the murder of farmer, Anthony Breedy, 60 years, of Hill Foot, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, whose body was found in the lower flat of his home about 1100h. today, with multiple injuries to his head.

According to a police press statement, the upper flat of the man’s home was ransacked.

The statement added that Anthony Breedy had lived alone, and both his hands and feet were tied when his body was discovered.

The body is at the Lyken Funeral Home awaiting a post-mortem examination.

A former Guyanese agriculturalist, who worked for years in Montserrat, was found dead at his home in Guyana on Monday. Dead is 60-year old Anthony Breedy of Hill Foot, Soesdyke-Linden Highway.

The Guyana Police Force said Breedy sustained “multiple injuries to his head” and his hands and feet were tied. Investigators said his body was found in the lower flat and the upper flat was “ransacked.”

Neighbours described Breedy as a quiet and friendly person who often entertained mostly male friends. One of the things that raised suspicions was the fact that the western window curtains were pulled for some time.

Breedy worked for several years on the British dependency of Montserrat where he played a major role in reviving agriculture in the aftermath of the volcanic eruption that devastated the southern section of the island.

Sure, the PPP responsible for drug culture throughout the world, no only Guyana. When will you start holding the PNC responsible?
