The back of this photo states this (the source is a Facebook timeline post by a Guyanese):

The 'return' of Dr. Cheddi Jagan, on February 22, 1954. Dr. Jagan the deposed Prime Minister of Brritish Guiana and Mr. Burnham the deposed Education Minister return to Georgetown by air recently from London. They had been away since last October when the Jagan Government was dismissed because their People Progressive Party planned to organise a Communist State. A request of the police the local papers did not mention that Jagan was returning - but Ms. Jagan - Secretary of the party distribited pamphlets calling on all followers to give them a great welcome. Burnham is in the front car.
