First time traveler busted with cocaine in milk packets at CJIA

Investigators at Guyana’s Customs Anti Narcotics Unit are preparing to file charges against a 30-year-old Guyanese man who was busted on Thursday evening with cocaine in milk packets.

The man would have been a first time traveler to the United States. Agents of CANU became suspicious after noticing several packets of what appeared to be powdered milk in the man’s suitcases.

A closer examination revealed that the Kerrygold milk packets were resealed with cocaine instead of vitamin rich milk.

The outgoing passenger was immediately arrested after the tests confirmed that it was indeed cocaine in he milk powder packets.

Over 10 pounds of the illegal drug made up the several packets in the man’s possession.  Charges are expected to be filed shortly.

In July of last year, a British woman was busted at the same Cheddi Jagan Airport with cocaine in Kerrygold milk packets.

CANU has been stepping up its monitoring of outgoing passengers at the Cheddi Jagan Airport and other ports of entry.

In fact this is the PNC fund raising drive to pay for bacchanal. We have seen this in the past when the PNC/AFC needs money, they send out their operatives on massive robbery and drug running sprees to replenish the coffers.

Only the PPP has the cash to pay for the initial purchase of the cocaine. So let's don't pretend that anyone else got that sort of hard currency at hand. Drug dealers of this level want U$ as well. And that means contacts.

Why will the PNC need to fund raise, when all they have to do is to use taxpayers' $.

In fact its the PPP, which now no longer have access to that source, who may have to resort to drug dealing. We all know how friendly Jagdeo was with assorted drug lords.  Even Gail exclaimed that "this bothered her".  She was promptly removed from her minister slot.

Pointblank and Jalil are what the PNC is all about. This is what irresponsible people do, they blame the PNC mismanagement on someone else and pretend they do no wrong. Denial is a very bad thing. No wonder Guyana is dying for a breath of fresh air after one year. Granger good governance and accountability means to strangle the country to death. Pointblank should practice this principle to his love ones when they do something wrong and blame it on someone else.

I don't pay him or jalil much attention or take them seriously. However, I may comment every now and then to demonstrate how low they can stoop with serious issues like this one.

BTW, this thread should be closed for misleading heading, to say the least. I say no more.

If the PPP people are responsible for the drug trade then it is ironic that over 95% of those arrested for Drugs are Afros.

The blacks arrested are the small petty mules. It took the USA to arrest Roger Khan.

The man was responsible for trading MILLIONS of dollars of coke, not just a few sticks stuck in their *****.
