Good Morning to you too Ian. I like the photography.
Very nice morning prayer, it takes me back decades to my childhood on the sugar cane plantation.
I am still to understand why I get so emotional listening to this type of music, when I grew up as a Christian. Must be a childhood influence from my father, who was Hindu.
Wonderful Good Morning song.

Good morning brother Tola, I know exactly how you felt.. same here . I also grow up in a sugar estate and I miss the morning breeze from the Backdam. The smell of burning cane.
I believe we were so connected to our roots, this emotion will always be there irrespective of our religious belief.

Thanks Mits, very nice. These prayers set the tone for my visit to Hospice House this morning.
Twelve years ago I filmed Jean Vanier presentations to youth in our town. I am re-editing the video for youth groups in other countries. Jean Vanier initiated and now has over 150 homes around the world, for mentally disabled people. His father was a Canadian diplomat and might have been honoured by the Pope.
Tola, Ian, this is my favorite early morning song. It talks about the rising sun and the colors that is painted on the horizon. The cluster of clouds turn to shades of pink, red and gold. The Vessel of Splendor (the sun) cascades with gift of life on every home, yard, forest, garden.... In every leaf, blade of grass, plant, tree, etc., the face of Mother earth glows.
Tola, I am certain that you might have captured many pictures of sunrises and sunsets.
Enjoy! Look at the lil boy with de braces pants.

I hear you brothers. I was born at Plantation Skeldon and spent all my Guyanese life in Skeldon. Lived across from the sugar cane fields until I was 5. Later in life I watched the cane cutters sweat it out during the day. Tough work man.

I am wondering if Warria, Cain and Carib would take the time to listen to these songs.

They are Indians performing to the song. School children would sing this sometimes in the schools in India.
