From Church to Texas – Trotman’s State sponsored love affair
Word is that the Minister of Natural Resources Raphael Trotman has broken off his engagement to his fiancee after he became romantically involved with his advisor, Teresa Gaimes.
Gaime was Deputy Director of Policy, Childcare and Protection Agency (CCPA) through the Ministry of Governance under Raphael Trotman. When Trotman was reassigned to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Gaime followed him and became his technical officer. The relationship between the two eventually became difficult to hide as they have been spotted in public places and attend church together.
Some sources from within the Ministry are complaining that Gaime is being granted special advantages due to her liaison with Trotman and is sidelining other employees who are more competent in the field of oil and gas. Questions are arising regarding the misuse of financial resources in the Ministry to support Gaime.
A recent trip to Texas was organized for Ministers Trotman, Patterson, Greenidge, Gaskin and Jordan and though it was not clear as to the purpose of the visit, the Kaieteur News claims it was for them to “familiarize” with oil and gas matters. Gaime was taken with the team although it was not clear what her role will be.
Meetings were organized between the delegation and the ExxonMobil ExxonMobil Development Co. and ExxonMobil Gas and Power Marketing Co. at the ExxonMobil Campus in Houston, Texas, USA.
